Weekly Update 1:
We, a small team of ongoing professional developers, are committed to updating this project on a weekly bases. Mainly as a learning experience for us, but you might enjoy our small game as well. So without further ado, let's go into what changed since we released the Gamejam prototyp last week.
New:
- Everything: Well, atleast from a coding and art point of view. We started with a completely new project to do make sure that the whole game works well from the ground up.
- Color Bars: the color Bars now actually have a function beyond looking nicely (Hurray). Once you fully charged a color bar you can activate it with the 1, 2 or 3 Button to go into a super charged state for a few seconds. Blue: freezes all enemies on screen, Red: lets you deal double damage, Yellow: Slows all bullets around you down to half speed
- Levels: Added 5 new levels. Additionally the levels are now spawned in a random order and you can go between them seamlessly.
- Sound: Added some placeholder sounds here and there plus background music
- Tech: We have quite a lot o features in active development that are not ready for the public yet. This includes enemy AI, Items, Bullet Patterns for player and enemy alike and a few more things.
